With limited access to hot water in the temporary camp Kara Tepe on Lesvos, laundry is a big challenge. A Drop in the Ocean therefore offers a laundry service to all residents.
We wash around 5000 kg of clothing a week to medical standards. This is one of many measures to prevent the spread of scabies and other diseases.
For 100 kr we can wash 10 kg of clothing. Your contribution ensures that we can continue the service.

You will receive a gift certificate by e-mail which you can either give to someone else or keep for yourself.
The different needs in the refugee camps vary. If there is no longer a demand for the item(s) you purchased, we will utilise the value where needed. Your contribution will always be used to support people forced to flee.
